    Click “Download for Windows”: the .exe file lands in your Downloads folder.

    Run the installer

    Open the file, then follow the steps of the setup wizard.

    Open Nella

    Find Nella in the Start menu, then sign in or continue without an account.

Will Nella be on the Microsoft Store?

A Microsoft Store version is planned; its link will appear on this page. The .exe installer gives you the same app, with automatic updates.

Which version of Windows do I need?

Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit (x64).

Is the Windows app free?

Yes. You can use Nella Quick for free: without an account for your questions and web searches (20 messages every 3 hours), or with a more generous Free account, which also lets you build websites and apps. The Pro and Max plans add the more powerful models.

How do updates work?

Automatically, in the background, with WinSparkle. Every update is signed and verified before it is installed.

Which keyboard shortcuts can I use?

Ctrl+N opens a new conversation and Ctrl+, opens settings. The usual shortcuts (Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V, Ctrl+Z…) work in text fields.

My PC has an ARM processor. Can I use Nella?

The app is published for x64 PCs. On an ARM PC, you can use Nella in your browser, with the same account.

Are my conversations the same everywhere?

Yes. Sign in with the same account and your conversations and plan follow you on the web, iPhone, Android, Mac, Linux, VS Code, browsers, JetBrains IDEs and Microsoft Office.
