Which Android version do I need?

Android 7.0 (Nougat) or later, on a phone or a tablet.

Is the APK safe?

Yes. It is signed by Nella Group, and Android rejects any update that doesn’t carry the same signature. Only download it from this website.

How do I update Nella?

With Google Play, the app updates from within. With the APK, Nella lets you know about a new version and opens the download of the new file.

Is the app free?

Yes. You can use Nella Quick for free: without an account for your questions and web searches (20 messages every 3 hours), or with a more generous Free account, which also lets you build websites and apps. The Pro and Max plans add the more powerful models.

How do I upgrade to Pro or Max on Android?

Your plan is managed on the web, from your account. Then sign in to the app with the same account and your plan applies there too.

Are my conversations the same everywhere?

Yes. Sign in with the same account and your conversations and plan follow you on the web, iPhone, Mac, Windows, Linux, VS Code, browsers, JetBrains IDEs and Microsoft Office.

Why does Android ask me to allow an unknown source?

That’s how Android handles any app installed outside a store. Allow your browser once, install Nella, and you can then turn the permission off.
